Isaiah 51:11
So the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness; Sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
As Isaiah looks back in retrospect, as the
children of Israel, was rescued by The Lord, using Moses, from Egypt. From Isaiahs vantage point, already long ago, in order to
portray our future hope, he is saying that the final homecoming of those ransomed by the cross will be an unforeseeable, exodus, like breakout, but far better. This time, our joy will be “everlasting” and unmixed. Oh, what a time this will be!
in Isaiah 35:10, another translation is “gladness and joy will overtake them,” even as our depression runs for cover. How could it be otherwise? For God to hold out the prospect of joy, but forever mingled with sorrow and sighing, would be too much like the present, to excite us as a hope. God wants us to know that He will allow no place in His coming kingdom for even a trace of our present sorrows.
Freedom is coming for those that trust in Christ. If you have yet to place your trust in Jesus Christ, and ask for forgiveness, what's keeping you? Can i ask, if there is anything else more satisfying? The bible says, sin is pleasurable for a season......you can only enjoy your sin for soo long my friend.....Our future Exodus from this world is about to commence......don't miss it
