Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Isn’t it amazing that everything that a Christian says these days is considered ‘hate speech’, yet the world can say whatever they want, and it is ‘freedom of speech’?
Isn’t it amazing that a bible sitting on a desk in the public view is threatening to all those who pass by it because it ‘crosses’ some imaginary boundary line of separation of church and state?
Isn’t it amazing how ‘fun’ the enemy has made it to sin, calling God a dictator and merciless tyrant because he does not want you to stand up for yourself (turn the other cheek), speak up for yourself (meek), and only loves those that are his favorites (obviously the wealthy).
Isn’t it amazing that in the last 2000 years, the enemy has been able to create such a cesspool of sin that most don’t even realize that they are sinning?
Isn’t it amazing that even believers have fallen for these ideologies for sinning, claiming that ‘once saved always saved’ will open the gates of heaven for them…no matter what they do?
Isn’t it amazing that the body of Christ has chosen to remain silent on the belief of, ‘that will never happen here’? But yet here we are.
Everything, in some form or another, has been happening since the beginning of time (except for the changing of sexes, I can’t imagine that happening at a consistent rate as it is now). However, the difference now is that the world has created this umbrella of love that says, “God knows who I am, he knows my heart” and uses that to lure people away from truly serving God.
God is a god of Love. He does love unconditionally. However, He loves you so much that he is willing to let you choose your path. This is the part that does not get explained … this is the loophole that the enemy negates to tell you exists. This is the noose that will claim so many souls. Satan knows it … and plays his hand very well.
So there is the plain Jane honest truth as I know it to be:
Can you lose your salvation: no … but you can give it back. How? How can I give it back? By the choices you make. Scenario: I am a drunkard and adulteress gossip. Friends plant seeds into me and I finally submit to the authority of Jesus Christ. Over time, when things don’t go smoothly for me, times get extremely hard, and I just want to have ‘fun’, I return to my old life. (Now that is not losing or giving back salvation, stick with me.) I return full throttle and curse God, kick him out of my life, and start living for me again. My old ways consume me and there is no evidence of the Holy Spirit anywhere in me. None. I switch to altars in my home and casting spells on my enemies. I never repent of my actions and ask for God’s forgiveness. I am met with death and I am going to hell for my choices.
Scenario: I see all these people in this group that are really nice and I want to be a part of that. I jump on that train and go get baptized. The water was warm but boy was it cold when they raised me up. I joined the little group and we have a great time. They are nice and we do things together, but I never want to go with them on their little work things, so I make up stories on why I can’t go. They never question me and accept my answers as truth. I go through life making excuses to not help anyone, not being mean to them, but giving the ‘I will pray for you line’ that I heard. My heart is still centered around me and my comfort, not serving God. When tragedy strikes and takes my life, I stand before Him and the Book of Life and he asks who I am. I explained I was baptized and hung out with this one and that one and we were friends. Then He says, “I don’t know YOU, I know them, but I don’t know you.”
My friends. God is a loving God. He loves us so much that he will allow us to make our own choices. Living by His standards is not difficult. It is very simple actually. When you start living and seeing the world around you like He does, you earnestly feel the desire to help, to plant, to water, and to love. Even those who have hurt you.
The pits of Hell are no joke. It is not a party, it is torment. Some ‘Christians’ have fallen for the deceit of the enemy telling them that God is a loving God and will not allow them to go to hell. Giving them permission to continue to do whatever they want when they want. Only for them to find out in the end, their travel plans were changed.
