DOES KNOWING JESUS MAKE ME PHYSICALLY RICH WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME? One of the most common questions believers ask, especially in today’s world, is whether knowing Jesus automatically makes a person physically rich—and how quickly this happens. In a time when prosperity messages are everywhere, it is important to go back to the Word of God and understand what truly happens when someone surrenders to Christ. 1. Knowing Jesus Brings True Riches When we come to Christ, the first and greatest wealth we receive is spiritual wealth—forgiveness of sins, peace with God, and the gift of eternal life. These are riches no money can buy. As Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” 2. God Does Care About Our Needs Jesus Himself taught in Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” This means that as you walk with Christ, God is committed to meeting your needs—food, clothing, shelter, and provision. However, this is not always the same as becoming financially rich within a short time. God’s timing and purpose for each life differ. 3.
