Called Higher

Scripture

Exodus 24:12 (NKJV)
Then the Lord said to Moses, Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.

God Calls Us Near

God called Moses up to Mount Sinai to meet with Him personally. There, Moses would receive the law written by the very hand of God to guide His people. This moment reminds us that God invites His servants to draw near to Him, to listen, and to receive His Word so it can be shared with others.

God still calls His people to come higher into His presence. He desires not only to reveal His truth to us but also to equip us to teach and live it out. The call is not just about receiving knowledge but about transformation and obedience.

Reflection Questions

1. Do I make time to draw near to God daily and listen for His voice?

2. How am I living out the Word He has already given me?

3. Am I sharing God’s truth with others faithfully, as Moses was commanded to teach?

Prayer

Lord God, thank You for calling me into Your presence. Teach me to come higher, to set aside distractions, and to hear Your Word clearly. Write Your truth on my heart and help me to live and share it faithfully. In Jesus name, Amen.
