As I was praying tonight. I heard the Lord say; don't focus on what's wrong in the world, but we should focus on being what's right.
It's very easy to get distracted by the evil that is taking place. We are called to be light in the darkness of this world. If we lose sight of that by focusing on the evil and everything that is wrong with humanity, our light dims more and more.
The Bible is very clear about what is taking place right before our eyes. The bottom line is things are going to get even worse, but we are the called ones, that will usher in a great revival before the Lord returns.
What is, has been and will continue to take place should be an alarm to awaken to the call on our lives, to proclaim the gospel and the coming of our Lord. There is a boldness that is being awakened within those who will lay it all on the line. Who are willing to answer the call disregarding what it may cost.
Charlie Kirk's voice for truth and the gospel wasn't silenced today, but rather it was amplified. It's time for the people of God to speak as the sound of crashing waves. It's time for the church to be the church, getting past all the hype, and entertainment, getting raw with the truth in love. The world must know that our love for them is greater than their evil we hate. Love should always speak truth without fear of what it might cost us. It's time to get uncomfortable and undignified. The world is sick of seeing the church trying to fit in with world. We've been called to be separate, to be set apart, coming out from among the world. We can't just preach the gospel with our words, because they've heard it all before, but our preaching must be with a demonstration of the power of the gospel.
It's time to get desperate for a revival, but before that takes place, something has to change from what it's been, the change has to be in us in order to change the hearts of the lost. It's time to stop looking at the world, just shaking our heads and go on about our lives. It's time to allow God to shake our hearts and shake up our lives that we might become a collective light that shines as bright as the sun for those living in the darkness.
