Be Calm - Pastor Joseph Clark
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
– 1Phillipians 4:6-7
Calm and peace. Let your mind and your body be calm and at peace. The Lord has told us in human terms to be at peace in Him. Worry not. Fear not. There is nothing to be stressed or anxious over. Be calm and peaceful, in the Lord. He is with you, and he knows everything that you are experiencing.
“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
– C.S. Lewis
Heavenly Father Lord God Almighty, I give any remaining fears, pain, and anxiety, up to You. I trust in your plan for me. I joyfully anticipate the glorious days to come in your presence. I pray in the Holy name of Jesus Christ. The King of kings. Amen.
