Theme: Knowing God for Fruitfulness
Series: Kingdom Living
Scripture:
“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” — John 17:3 (NIV)
Devotional Message: The Fruit of Knowing God
A farmer cannot expect a harvest from a field he never tends. In the same way, eternal life and true fruitfulness begin with knowing God personally. It is not just head knowledge—it is living daily in His presence, learning from Him, and obeying His Word.
When we know God, our lives bear lasting fruit. Our decisions, actions, and relationships reflect His love, and the seeds we sow produce a harvest that glorifies Him. Connection with God is the source of every blessing, every growth, and every fruitful season.
1. Knowing God Is the Source of Fruitfulness
“Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (James 4:8)
Fruitful lives start with intimacy and connection with God.
2. Abiding Produces Lasting Fruit
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” (John 15:5)
Staying connected to God ensures growth in every area of life.
3. Knowledge Guides Our Steps
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
God’s Word helps us make choices that produce fruit and harvest.
4. Relationship Leads to Blessing
“Apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
Every success, blessing, and harvest flows from connection with Him.
5. Eternal Life Brings Hope and Joy
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 11:30)
Knowing God ensures our labor is fruitful and our harvest is lasting.
Today’s Reminder:
Fruitfulness begins with knowing God. Eternal life is both the source and the promise of a harvest that lasts.
Prayer Point:
Father,
Thank You for giving me the gift of knowing You through Jesus Christ. Help me to grow closer to You each day, remain connected to Your Word, and bear fruit that glorifies Your name. Let my life produce a harvest that reflects Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I know God personally.
My life is rooted in Him.
