Mankind is crying for help. And now you, the holy ones of heaven, the souls of men, make their suits, saying, "Bring our cause before the most high." Mankind is begging for these angels to go to God to do something about this. That's how bad things are.

The second rebellion brought in an acceleration of human depravity so terrible that God intervened with a worldwide flood. But that didn't end with the flood, human depravity and evil knowledge that they taught mankind carried on after the flood.
