Outreach Report: Distribution of Urdu Bibles in Dilawarian Village
Date: [12th Sep, 2025]
Location: Dilawarian Village, Sheikhupura District, Punjab, Pakistan
1. Purpose of Outreach
The purpose of this outreach was to distribute Urdu Bibles among young Bible students in the village of Dilawarian, located approximately 80 km west of our base in Punjab, Pakistan. This initiative was part of our ongoing mission to equip young believers with the Word of God and encourage spiritual growth through personal Bible study.
2. Journey and Arrival
Our team began the journey around 3:30 PM. Due to heavy traffic along the route, we arrived at the village by 6:30 PM. Despite the delay, we were blessed to find that the local church service had already begun, and the community had gathered in anticipation.
We were warmly welcomed by Pastor Haroon Masih and the local congregation, which created an atmosphere of joy and unity.
3. Worship and Message
A 12-minute sermon was delivered by Pastor Nathaniel Emanuel on the theme of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The message focused on the urgency of readiness and the hope we have in Christ's return, encouraging the young believers to remain steadfast in faith.
4. Bible Distribution
Following the sermon, the main highlight of the outreach took place — the distribution of 20 Urdu Bibles to young Bible students aged 16 to 25. Each recipient was called by name according to a pre-prepared list and was invited forward to receive their copy of the Bible.
Total Recipients: 20
Females: 16
Males: 4
Age Range: 16 – 25 years
As each Bible was given, several young people shared brief testimonies, expressing their gratitude and excitement to receive God’s Word in their own language. These moments were heartfelt and deeply moving, reflecting the spiritual hunger present in the village.
5. Fellowship and Departure
After the distribution, the group came together for a group photo and a short video recording, capturing this joyful occasion. We then concluded the gathering with a word of prayer, thanking God for His provision and presence throughout the event.
The local church generously served light refreshments, and we departed from the village around 8:30 PM, arriving safely back home by 10:00 PM.
6. Acknowledgment
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Pastor Haroon Masih, the local leadership, and the entire community of Dilawarian for their warm hospitality and cooperation. This outreach was a reminder of the vital need for Scripture in remote communities and the powerful impact it can have on young lives.
7. Conclusion
The outreach to Dilawarian was a fruitful and blessed experience. Through this Bible distribution, we believe that seeds of faith have been planted and will continue to grow as these young believers engage with the Word of God. We pray for continued spiritual growth in the village and look forward to further ministry opportunities in the region.
“So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” — Isaiah 55:11
