At the time I am recording this broadcast, Charlie Kirk has just been assassinated.
My purpose today is not to comment on the life and work of Mr. Kirk, but rather on the unexpectedness of his death.
Charlie Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at a debate event at Utah Valley University.
He did not know he was going to be killed. Still, he was ready. He was prepared for his death; whenever it came.
Regardless of how much we exercise, eat right and take care of our bodies, death can take it all away in a second. Even if you do not die from a gun shot wound, you may die from some other unexpected event, like an auto accident or sudden illness or disease.
My own father died suddenly from a house construction accident, when he fell to his death – in excellent health I might add.
I do not wish to be morbid or gruesome. I only want to point out that – at the point of death – your eternal destiny is sealed. You cannot repent of your sins and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, once you have died. It will be too late!
Charlie Kirk was a saved, born-again true Christian believer. So also was my father. They are both in Heaven right now, waiting for me, when my time comes. My purpose, like other evangelists, is to help make Heaven crowded!
