Heavenly Father, We rise this Thursday morning with grateful hearts, giving You thanks for the gift of life, health, and strength. Your Word reminds us, “This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). Lord, we choose to start this day with praise on our lips and thanksgiving in our hearts.
Thank You, Lord, for waking us up clothed in our right minds and with the ability to see another day. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17). We acknowledge that all blessings—great and small—come from You.
Father, we are thankful for Your mercy that is new every morning. “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22–23). Thank You for being faithful even when we fall short.
We ask that You guide our steps today, Lord. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6). Order our decisions, conversations, and actions that they may bring glory to Your name.
Lord, help us to remain thankful in every situation. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Whether in joy or challenge, let gratitude be our song today.
We pray for our families, friends, and loved ones. Cover them with Your protection, and let peace dwell in their hearts and homes. As Your Word declares, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you” (Numbers 6:24–25).
Father, we thank You in advance for victories, open doors, and blessings yet unseen. We end this prayer with thanksgiving, believing that “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray—Amen.
