We live in a sexually charged world, where boys and girls alike are constantly exposed to temptation. But to be among those spreading lust is a serious offense.
Jesus warned us about this in Matthew 18:7:
“Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to the person through whom the offense comes!”
He also said in Matthew 18:6:
“If anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a millstone tied around his neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Imagine being the reason someone who has been keeping their consecration falls into the snare of temptation. Think about the weight of that before God.
This is why the Bible urges us: “Watch and pray.” Yes, watch and pray, because while you might not care now, remember this — as a believer, you have a Master, and one day, you will give an account to Him.
