GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU
One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that God never forgets His people. We may sometimes feel overlooked by others, forgotten by the world, or even abandoned in moments of trial. But the Word of God assures us that the Almighty sees, knows, and remembers.
In the book of Genesis 8:1, the Bible says, “And God remembered Noah…” After months of being shut inside the ark, with waters covering the earth, Noah might have wondered if God had forgotten him. Yet, in due time, God caused the waters to recede and set Noah’s feet on dry ground. What a testimony that no season lasts forever when God has you in mind.
We see this again in the story of Hannah (1 Samuel 1:19). Year after year, she wept for a child. Her rivals mocked her, and her womb remained closed. But one day, the Scripture says, “The Lord remembered her.” What was once barren gave birth to Samuel, a prophet who would shape the destiny of Israel.
To be remembered by God does not mean He had forgotten you before. God does not suffer memory lapses. Rather, it means that He chooses to act on your behalf, to bring His promises concerning you into manifestation.
When God remembers you:
Closed doors open. Like Joseph, who went from the prison to the palace because God remembered him.
Long delays end. Like Sarah, who received strength to conceive even in old age.
Shame is replaced with glory. Like Hannah, whose tears turned into songs of rejoicing.
Beloved, perhaps you are waiting on God right now—for healing, for provision, for a breakthrough, or for restoration. You may feel hidden, overlooked, or stuck in a season that seems unending. But let this truth anchor your soul: God will remember you.
He has not forgotten your prayers, your sacrifices, or your tears. His timing may not be yours, but it is always perfect. As Isaiah 49:16 declares, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.”
Today, hold on in faith. Keep serving, keep believing, keep praying. The same God who remembered Noah, Hannah, and Joseph is still at work. Very soon, your testimony will also be that God remembered me.
