Trusting in the Lord: A Favourable Companion

Trusting in the Lord is favourable. When you learn to trust Him, that attracts what you literally lack. Do you lack strength? Trust the Lord. What about your health? Trust the Lord. Are you easily looked down upon? Trust the Lord. It seems some do not want to see your face? Trust the Lord. The best companion you can have is the Lord Jesus Christ. That songwriter says, "There is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, no not one... Jesus knows all about your struggle, He will guide till the day is done." I want you to know that He is your present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1). When you call upon Him, He answers. He said, "Anyone that comes to Me, I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).

Trusting the Lord in Troubled Times
Do you remember the disciples were troubled in the boat, and the boat was almost capsizing because of the wind confronting them? They felt that was the end. Probably Peter must have said, "I am an expert in fishing, and I can swim, but with this one I'm seeing, I'm not sure we can survive." But when their strength and all their logic stopped, they remembered the Waymaker, the Promise Keeper, the Miracle Worker was on the boat, sleeping. He was not concerned about what the devil was doing. They shouted, "Master, don't You care we perish?" (Matthew 8:25). He arose and rebuked the wind, and the raging stopped.

Decree of Peace
I decree every evil breeze, tornado, hurricane, rushing mighty wind against you and your family face the judgment of the Lord. I decree peace be still in Jesus name.
