Despite Pharaoh’s hardness of heart, God used the situation to display His sovereignty, power, and glory. This shows that even those who oppose God are under His control and can be instruments in fulfilling His greater purpose. Apply: In our lives, this reminds us that God is sovereign over rulers, circumstances, and even hardships. Sometimes we may not understand why certain challenges or powerful people seem to stand against God’s will, but He can use them to accomplish His purpose. Instead of being discouraged, we can trust that every situation is under God’s control and that He will use it to reveal His glory and strengthen our faith.
