Hebrews 10:35-39 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.

For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and recieve what is promised.

"For yet a little while, and the coming one shall come and shall not tarry;

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him."

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and keep their souls.

Genesis 22:15-19 And the angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time, from heaven,

and said, "By myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this, and have not withheld your son, your only son,

I will indeed bless you, and I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore. And your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies,

Hebrews 3:1-6 Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly call, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

He was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in God's house.

Yet Jesus has been counted worthy of as much more glory than Moses as the builder of a house has more honor than the house.

(For every house is built by some one, but the builder all things is God.)

Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as as servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,

but Christ was faithful of God's house as a son. and we are his house if we hold fast our confidence and pride in our hope.

Hebrews 9:1-10 Now even the first covenant had regulations for worship and an earthly sanctuary.

For a tent was prepared, the outer one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the bread of the Presence; It is called the Holy Place.

Behind the second curtain stood a tent called the Holy of Holies,

having the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, which contained a golden urn holding the manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.

These preparations having thus been made, the priests go continually into the outer tent, performing their ritual duties;

but into the second only the high priest goes, and he but once a year, and not without taking blood which he offers for himself and for the errors of the people.

By this the Holy Spirit indicates that the way into the sanctuary is not yet opened as long as the outer tent is still standing

(which is symbolic for the present age), According to this arrangement, gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot perfect the conscience of the worshiper,

but deal only with food and drink and various ablutions, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

Hebrews 5:5-11 So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, "Thou art my Son, today I have begotten thee";

as he says also in another place, "Thou are a priest for ever, after the order of Mel-Chiz'-e-dek."

In the days of the flesh, Jesus' offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear.

Although he was a Son, he learned obedience  through what he suffered;

and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

being designated by God a high priest after the order of Mel-Chiz'-e-dek.

About this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
