A Lively Hope KJV

1 Peter 1:3-12 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Je'-sus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations;

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Je'-sus Christ;

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory;

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you.

Searching what, or what matter of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Ephesians 1:3-14 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, who hast blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ;

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Je'-sus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved,

in whom we have redemption  through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself;

That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him;

in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel  of his own will;

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ,

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Colossians 1:3-8 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, praying always for you,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Je'-sus, and of the love which ye have in all the saints,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth;

As ye also learned of Ep-a-phras our dear fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
