Good morning everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
Today is a rough day. My father-in-law’s journey on this earth is coming to an end and the struggle he is having is heartbreaking. Though we know where the path leads, to watch the earthly self struggle … is hard.
With him being a new Christian and not well versed in the peace that comes, I am sure that he is scared and confused. The once strong patriarch is now the feeble child being tended to by his children and strangers.
Today I ask for prayers. Prayers for peace and understanding for him as he draws closer to the end here and the new beginning there. Pray for peace and comfort for the boys as they witness the end of an age. May this experience draw them closer as brothers. Pray for the extended family as we help the boys cope and process these events.
