Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blessing of a new day and the gift of life. As we rise this Saturday morning, we are reminded that “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24 KJV). We enter this day with hearts of gratitude, knowing that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Lord, we ask that You order our steps today. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37:23 KJV). Guide our decisions, protect our families, and help us to walk in wisdom and love.
We pray for rest and refreshing in our spirits, that this weekend will not only renew our bodies but also revive our souls. Jesus, You said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 KJV). May we find our peace in You today.
Lord, help us to use this day as an opportunity to shine Your light. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16 KJV). Let our words be seasoned with grace, our actions reflect Your love, and our hearts stay focused on You.
We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in faith knowing You are our shield and protector.
Thank You, Lord, for being with us today and always. We give You all glory, honor, and praise.
