Day 7 – Hope, Revival, and Legacy

Theme: Carrying the mantle forward

Scripture:

2 Kings 2:9–15 – Elisha takes up Elijah’s mantle.

Hebrews 11:13 – “All these died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar…”

Story:
Charlie’s life was cut short, but his influence continues. Like Elijah passing his mantle to Elisha, the work is not finished. His death calls others to step forward—to speak truth, to live boldly, to build faithfully. Hebrews 11 reminds us that faithful men and women look ahead, seeing promises from afar. Hope is stronger than death, and revival always begins when the next generation takes up the mantle.

Reflection:
What legacy will I leave behind? Whose mantle am I called to carry?

Prayer:
“Lord, in loss, let hope rise. May revival come from the seeds sown in Charlie’s life and in mine. Give me courage to carry the mantle of truth, faith, and love into my generation.”
