Revelation 20:15 gives us a sobering truth: “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” This is a reminder that eternity is real, and there are only two destinations—eternal life with Christ or the second death in the lake of fire. The good news is that Jesus came so our names could be written in that book through faith in His sacrifice. John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The question is not whether judgment is coming—it surely is—but whether we are ready. Revelation 3:5 gives hope: “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.” Today is the day of salvation—make sure your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.
