Psalm 14:1-7 KJV
Psalm 14:1-7 THE fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
They are all gone aside, they are together become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.
Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
Oh that the salvation of Is'-ra'el were come out of Zi'-on! when the LORD bringeth back the the captivity of his people, Ja'-cob shall rejoice, and Is'-ra-el shall be glad.
Romans 3:9-18 What then? are we better than they? No, no one wise; for we have before proved both Jews and Gen'-tiles, that they are all under sin:
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God
They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips.
Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness;
Their feet are swift to shed blood;
Destruction and misery are in their ways;
And the way of peace have they not known;
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Psalm 53:1-6 THE fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity; there is none that doeth good.
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Every one of them is gone back; they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread; they have not called upon God.
There were they in great fear, where no fear was; for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee; thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
Oh that the salvation of Is'-ra-el were come out of Zi'-on! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Ja'-cob shall rejoice, and Is'-ra-el shall be glad.
Job 42:1-17 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understand not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye seeth thee.
Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto job, the LORD said to E-li'-phaz the Te'-man-ite. My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept; lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the things which is right, like my servant Job.
So E-li'phaz the Te'-man- ite and Bil'-dad the Shu'-hite and Zo'-phar the Na'-a-math-ite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them; the LORD also accepted Job.
and the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends; also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house; and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him; every man also gave him gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
So the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
He had also seven sons and three daughters.
And he called the name of the first, Je-mi'-ma; and the name of the second, Ke-zi'-a; and the name of the third, Ker'-en-hap'-puch.
and in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters's of Job; and their father gave them inheritance among the brethren.
After this live Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
So Job died, being old and full of days.
