I’m Not Good Enough for Religion

We often feel unworthy—filthy, ashamed, used up, damaged, or defeated. We tell ourselves it’s too late, that we’ve gone too far, that God could never accept us. But God’s perspective is different. He calls everyone to Himself. Jesus came for sinners.

Maybe you’re struggling with addiction. Maybe you’ve had an abortion. Maybe you’ve been in prison, or you battle alcoholism, drug use, or illness. Maybe shame, regret, or despair weigh on you. Maybe you’ve done things you’re deeply ashamed of—adultery, betrayal, prostitution.

No matter your past, God—your Creator—sees you as beautiful, cherished, loved, treasured, and protected. He knows your heart, and He celebrates you.

Jesus said:
“I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” — Matthew 9:13

The gospel is not for the perfect—it’s for the broken, the struggling, the lost. If you feel beyond hope, hear this: Christ’s arms are open. Come as you are. He will not turn you away.
