Heavenly Father, we thank You for waking us up this Tuesday morning with breath in our bodies and strength in our limbs. Your Word says in Lamentations 3:22-23 that “it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lord, we embrace Your new mercies today and invite Your presence into our lives and into the lives of each of our family members.
Father, we lift up our family before You this morning. We ask for Your protection over every household represented. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11 that You will give Your angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. Let no weapon formed against our loved ones prosper (Isaiah 54:17), but cover them under the shadow of Your mighty wings.
Lord, we pray for unity and love in our family. Help us to “bear with one another and forgive one another, even as Christ forgave us” (Colossians 3:13). Teach us to speak words that build up and not tear down, remembering Proverbs 18:21 that life and death are in the power of the tongue. May peace rule in our hearts and in our homes.
Father, we ask for favor and provision over our family members. Your Word says in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Open doors of opportunity, bless our work, guide our decisions, and order our steps this day, for Psalm 37:23 says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.
Lord, we also pray for the spiritual growth of our family. May each of us draw closer to You, hungering for Your Word and walking in Your ways. As Joshua 24:15 declares, “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Let our homes be filled with prayer, joy, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We seal this prayer with thanksgiving, knowing You hear us when we pray according to Your will (1 John 5:14). We trust You to bless, protect, and keep our family not only today, but all the days of our lives.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
