Morning, September 23rd Read; Matthew 6:25 Food and clothes are two of our most pressing concerns as humans. They have been for millennia. God, on the other hand, reminds us that no matter how essential these things appear to be in our world, life is far broader than these things, and He wants us to believe that He will supply them when we trust in Him. Prayer Father, please help me through Your Holy Spirit to rein in my jealous and covetous heart. I know my hunger for goods makes me nervous and near-sighted in my faith. Give me a wider picture of Your Kingdom so I can through Your blessings serve others. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
