OK so regardless of what I posted, as always, God had a different plan for me.
Hit me with this.
6/12 1Corinthians 2:14 " The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit." ... Now you know why the world that is lost cannot understand the ways of the Lord, the Word of the Lord or even the people that belong to the Lord! They don't have the Holy Spirit inside of them revealing God's word, ways or truth! You got to have the Spirit of the living God to understand what God is saying. Holy Spirit is our interpreter, our counselor, our helper, our guide! Listen... The Father is complicated, we will never fully know or understand or grasp His majesty, and Jesus spoke in parables... He is a chip off the old block if ever there was one, we need someone who can explain these things to us and to help our little, feeble, human minds to understand.... Enter Holy Spirit, the perfect helper! Let me just throw this out there, pray before you read God's word, ask the Holy Spirit to sit in with you and to open your heart and mind to receive and understand what you are about to read, and don't rush through it just to check it off your list. It's better to read and understand just 1 or 2 verses and be able to apply them to your daily life than it is to read 10 chapters and walk away with nothing.
