Proverbs 1:2-3 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement, and equity;
Proverbs 1:7-10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and and instruction.
My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother;
For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about they neck.
My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.
Proverbs 2:1-7 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous; he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
Proverbs 10:17 He is in the way that keepeth instruction; but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Proverbs 12:1 Whose loveth instruction loveth knowledge; but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction; but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
Proverbs 15:31-33 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise.
He that refuseth instruction despised his own soul; but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
