In our walk upon this earth, Christ calleth us not to strive in the flesh, but in the Spirit, to dwell where God abideth. Yea, He saith, ‘Watch and pray,’ and be steadfast, persevering unto the end. So is it with our lives: why strive for wealth, possessions, or fame? Labour indeed, but in wisdom, in watchfulness, and in prayer, knowing that God hath already heard thee, even before thou speakest. Wait for the appointed time, for the kingdom is not for personal gain, but for all, both now and forever. What thou prayest cometh not by might, nor by power, but by the will of God and His appointed season to accomplish all. Therefore, watch, and pray, and wait patiently.”
