Morning, September 27th
Read; Proverbs 10:21

I have numerous friends who speak with great wisdom. Everyone pays attention when they speak because their thoughts are always intelligent, well-timed, and important. Their upright lifestyles and wise use of words benefit and edify everyone who hears them. Others, on the other hand, are always talking about everything and spending little or no time doing what they teach. Their statements are dismissed as nothing more than their own need to hear their own thoughts on subjects about which they have little knowledge.

Prayer

Holy and wise God, please give me wisdom and self-control to keep my lips shut until what I say may benefit the people to whom I'm speaking. Help my remarks be useful and honest. In Jesus' precious name, I pray. Amen.
