Matthew 6:25-29 "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on, Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet you heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

"Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

"So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin;

"and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Peace

John 14:25-27 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Joy

Psalm 30:4-5 Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

gentleness, self-control. against such there is no law.

James 1:2-8 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him,

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Hope

Be Thankful

Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!

Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise, Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 103:1-5 BLESS the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits;

Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,

Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,

Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 102:17 He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.

James 5:12-16 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath, But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No." lest you fall into judgement.



Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.


Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.


And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.


Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
