Why did so many believe in a false Rapture for this year? Because they held the futurist view of prophecy which says Daniel's 70th week is not yet fulfilled, with its false prophecy if an end time 7 year tribulation. So from that they say 32ad was Jesus crucifixion so counting back from there for a 7 year trib is 2025.
