Dear friends, let’s be honest; life isn’t always easy. Some days we wake up ready to take on the world, but other days, it feels like the world is sitting on our shoulders. Bills pile up, dreams get delayed, relationships get strained, and sometimes fear creeps in and whispers, “You can’t make it.”

But I want to remind you of something today: God did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). That means courage is already inside you, because God Himself lives in you.

Courage doesn’t mean you’ll never feel afraid. It means you choose to trust God even when fear is knocking on your door. Think about Joshua. He was stepping into a role bigger than him. To lead an entire nation. And God didn’t tell him, “Joshua, don’t worry, you’ll never be scared.” No. God said, “Be strong and courageous, for I am with you wherever you go.”

That’s the secret: courage comes from knowing you’re not alone.

Look at David facing Goliath. Everyone else saw a giant, but David saw God’s power. Esther risked her life to save her people, saying, “If I perish, I perish.” Daniel kept praying even when he knew the lions were waiting. What gave them courage wasn’t their own strength, it was their faith in a God who never fails.

Maybe today you’re facing your own Goliath. Maybe it’s a job loss, a broken relationship, a sickness, or even self doubt. Listen, God is bigger than all of it. And courage is the choice to say:

“Yes, I feel afraid, but I won’t let fear stop me.”

“Yes, the road is hard, but I know God is walking with me.”

“Yes, I’ve been knocked down, but I will rise again.”

Lift your head. Breathe deep. Take that step forward. Because the same God who shut the mouth of lions, who opened the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the grave. He is with you right now.

And if God is for you, nothing and no one can stand against you.

So today, walk in courage. Not because life is easy, but because God is faithful.

Indeed, He is.
