Genesis 4:9-15 NKJV
Genesis 4:9-15 Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know, Am I my brother's keeper?"
And He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground.
"So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
"When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth."
And Cain said to the LORD, "My punishment is greater than I can bear!
"Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth, and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me."
And the LORD said to him, "Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold." And the LORD set a mark on Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.
Genesis 3:9-16 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
So he said, ‘I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, and I hid myself.”
And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
Then the man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”
And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
So the Lord God said to the serpent; “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust All the days of your life.
And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”
To the woman He said; “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And He shall rule over you.”
Deuteronomy 15:7-11 "If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut nor shut your hand from the poor brother,
"but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, whatever he needs.
"Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, 'The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,' and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the LORD against you, and it become sin among you.
"You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.
"For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.'
Genesis 9:1-7 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them; "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.
"And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.
"Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs.
"But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
"Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. from the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man.
"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man.
And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it."
