1 Thessalonians 1:5-10 NKJV

Acts 13:44-52 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul.

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

"For so the Lord has commanded us; 'I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.'"

Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and gloried the word of the Lord, And as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed.

And the word of the Lord was being spread throughout all the region.

But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, raised up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.

But they shook off the dust from their feet against them, and came to Iconium.

and the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:16-21 But they have not all obeyed the gospel, For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But I say, have they not heard?" Yes indeed; "their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the word."

But I say, did Israel not  know? First Moses says; "I will provoke you to jealously by those who are not a nation, I will move you to anger by a foolish nation."

But Isaiah is very  bold and says; "I was found by those who did not seek Me; I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me."

But to Israel he says; "All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people."

Romans 1:8-12 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you.

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established--

that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Romans 2:5-11 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgement of God,

who "will  render to each one according to his deeds"

eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;

but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,

tribulation, and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;

but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also for the Greek.

For there is no partiality with God.
