Isaiah 5:24-25 NKJV

Isaiah 5:24-25 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; Because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore the anger of the LORD is aroused against His people; He has stretched out His hand against them And stricken them, And the hills trembled. Their carcasses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still.

Exodus 15:2-8 The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father's God, and I will exalt Him.

The LORD is a man of war; The LORD is His name.

Pharaoh's chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea.

The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone.

"Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble.

And the blast of Your nostrils The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.

Job 18:14-21 He is uprooted form the shelter of his tent, And they parade him before the king of terrors.

They dwell in his tent who are none of his; Brimstone is scattered on his dwelling.

His roots are dried out below, And his branch withers above.

The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name among the renowned.

He is driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world.

He has neither son nor posterity among his people, Nor any remaining in his dwellings.

Those in the west are astonished at his day, As those in the east are frightened.

Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, And this is the place of him who does not know God.
