Isaiah 13:2-8 NKJV
Isaiah 7:10-14 Moreover the LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
"Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above."
But Ahaz said, "I will not ask nor will I test the LORD!"
Then he said, "Hear now, O house of David! Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
Isaiah 42:13 The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.
Zephaniah 1:7 Be silent in the presence of the Lord GOD; For the day of the LORD is at hand, For the LORD has prepared a sacrifice; He has invited His guests.
Joel 1:11-18 Be ashamed, you farmers, Wail, you vinedressers, For the wheat and the barley; Because the harvest of the field has perished.
The vine has dried up, And the fig tree has withered; The pomegranate tree, The palm tree also, And the apple tree--All the trees of the field are withered; Surely joy has withered away from the sons of men.
Gird yourselves and lament, you priests; Wail, you who minister before before the altar; Come, lie all night in sackcloth. You who minister to my God; For the grain offerings and the drink offering Are withheld from the house of your God.
Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of the LORD your God, And cry out to the LORD.
Alas for the day! For the day of the LORD is at hand; It shall come as destruction from the Almighty.
Is not the food cut off before our eyes, Joy and gladness from the house of our God?
The seed shrivels under the clods, Storehouses are in shambles; Barns are broken down, For the grain has withered.
How the animals groan! The herds of cattle are restless, Because they have no pasture; Even the flocks of sheep suffer punishment.
Psalm 48:4-8 For behold, the kings assembled, They passed by together.
They saw it, and so they marveled; They were troubled; they hastened away.
Fear took hold of them there, And pain, as of a woman in birth pangs,
As when You break the ships of Tarshish With an east wind,
As we have heard, So we have seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, In the city of our God; God will establish it forever. Selah
