THE ADVENT TRUTH
Many churches today are pushing ecumenism — the idea that all denominations should unite and set aside doctrinal differences for the sake of “love” and “unity.” While this sounds good on the surface, it’s actually dangerous deception. True unity in the Bible is always based on truth, never compromise. Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, “Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth” (John 17:17, 21). Biblical unity comes through sanctification by God’s Word, not by watering down truth to avoid conflict.

Amos 3:3 asks, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” The answer is no. We cannot walk hand-in-hand with teachings that contradict God’s Word and still claim to be standing for Christ. Ecumenism demands silence about sin, the gospel, and the Three Angels’ Messages — the very truths the world needs most right now. Satan doesn’t mind unity if it’s in error, because that prepares the world to receive the mark of the beast (Revelation 13).

Revelation 18:4 calls God’s people to come out of Babylon, not blend in with it. True love warns others when they are in danger, even if it causes division. Jesus Himself said, “I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34). We are called to unite in Christ and His truth, not to merge with error under a false banner of peace. Stand firm — unity without truth is just a broad road leading to destruction.
