Meaning anytime there is smoke in your marriage, then there is fire. And until you put off the fire, you cannot control the smoke. The fire is the main cause of the problem and not the smoke. Stop fighting the smoke, you won't succeed. You don't focus on the smoke, rather deal with the fire. Smoke in marriage is: 1. The fighting 2. The insults 3. The beatings 4. The cheating 5. The threatening 6. The unforgiveness 7. The denial of sex 8. The killings 9. The separation 10. The divorce The above are the smoke and are not really the fire (the main cause).
