Job 38:1-3 Who is this that obscures divine plans with words of ignorance? NAB
VII: The Lord's Speech
Question in the Bible
Job 38:1-3 Then the LORD addresses Job out of the storm and said;
Who is this that obscures divine plans with words of ignorance?
Gird up your loins now, like a man; I will question you, and you tell me the answers!
Job 40:6-7 Then the LORD addressed Job out of the storm and said;
Gird up your loins now, like a man. I will question you, and you tell me the answers!
Answer in the Bible
Job 42:3-7 ( no verse 4) I have dealt with great things that I do not understand; things too wonderful for me, which I cannot know.
I had heard of you buy word of mouth, but now my eye has seen you.
Therefore I disown what I have said, and repent in dust and ashed.
VIII: Epilogue- Job's Restoration.
And it came to pass after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite. "I am angry with you and with your two friends; for you have not spoken rightly concerning me, as has my servant Job.
Romans 10:14-17 But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring Theophilus Senyo good news!"
But not everyone has heeded the good news; for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed what was heard from us?"
Thus faith come from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
