THE ADVENT TRUTH
In recent years, we’ve seen a global push toward digital ID systems. Governments claim these systems are for “convenience” and “security,” but the Bible warns us to be spiritually discerning. Revelation 13:16–17 tells us that a day is coming when “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark.” This prophecy speaks of a worldwide enforcement system tied to worship and allegiance, not just technology.

Digital IDs themselves are not the mark of the beast, but they could easily become the infrastructure used to enforce it. Think about it: these systems connect your identity, bank account, medical records, travel history, and more. If everything you need to function in society is tied to a single digital profile, all it takes is for a law to be passed that says, “Unless you comply, your access is revoked.” Overnight, those who refuse could be locked out of the economy — unable to buy food, pay bills, or even work.

Revelation 13 makes it clear that the issue is worship. The mark of the beast is about choosing to obey man’s commandments over God’s, specifically regarding His holy Sabbath. The final crisis will center on a false day of worship, enforced by civil power. The digital ID system is like the rails of a train — by itself it’s just infrastructure, but once the beast powers take control, the train will be headed straight toward prophecy’s fulfillment.

This is why we must prepare now, not by hiding from technology, but by strengthening our faith in Jesus and committing to keep God’s commandments no matter the cost (Revelation 14:12). Don’t be deceived into thinking a microchip or a digital ID is the mark — the true test is who you worship and obey. The time is coming when loyalty to Christ will be tried like never before. Today, choose to follow Him fully so that when the systems of this world are weaponized against God’s people, you will stand firm, sealed with the mark of God, not the mark of the beast.
