In Numbers 11:5, the Israelites were complaining of their present situation with God in the wilderness. They complained to Moses that when they were in Egypt, they had more than enough to eat.

And I got thinking... This is the same as Christianity today. Today someone says they believe in God but tomorrow you find them going against the same faith they once believed in.

This scripture taught me something which is that... You should let people know who God is first and on their own allow them to believe because if you go about telling them just to believe they will turn around and rend you --- Matthew 7:6

People that never get tired in the faith are people that genuinely seek God with all their mind, heart, body and soul. Come what may, their response is always God. These kind of people have died to this world.

But people that lose faith easily, they believed because they heard of what God gives to those that believes in him. And this is what Jesus warned about in John 6:26 that we should not seek him because of bread but rather we should seek everything about him.

What God did for the Israelites was to bring them out of bondage and slavery but they all wanted to go back because of free food. A man who hasn't died to the things of this world can't serve God.

What God wants to do for those that diligently seek him is to transform them into a king. The world is slavery in disguise but you don't know it.

This is why I've been teaching the fruits of the holy spirit because this is what makes a King. Come to him and die to him so that he will show you his ways and teach you his truth --- psalm 25:4-5

What God wants to do is to make the world dependent on you and not you dependent on the world. The only price to pay is to trust him and have patience.
