Acts 16:30-34 “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” GNB

Acts 16:30-34 Then he led them out and asked,

Question in the Bible

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

Answer in the Bible

They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved — you and your family.”

Then they preached the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

At that very hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; and he and all his family were baptized at once.

Then he took Paul and Silas up into his house and gave them some food to eat. He and his family were filled with joy, because they now believed in God.

Acts 2:36-39 “All the people of Israel, then, are to know for sure that this Jesus, whom you crucified, is the one that God has made Lord and Messiah!”

When the people heard this, they were deeply troubled and said to Peter and the other apostles, “What shall we do, brothers?”

Peter said to them, “Each one of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins will be forgiven; and you will receive God's gift, the Holy Spirit.

For God's promise was made to you and your children, and to all who are far away — all whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”
