Acts of the Apostles 16:30-34 "Honorable masters, what must I do to be rescued?" CEB

Acts of the Apostles 16:30-34 He led them outside and asked,

Question in the Bible

"Honorable masters, what must I do to be rescued?"

Answer in the Bible

They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your entire household."

They spoke the Lord’s word to him and everyone else in his house.

Right then, in the middle of the night, the jailer welcomed them and washed their wounds. He and everyone in his household were immediately baptized.

He brought them into his home and gave them a meal. He was overjoyed because he and everyone in his household had come to believe in God.

Acts of the Apostles 2:36-39 "Therefore, let all Israel know beyond question that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

When the crowd heard this, they were deeply troubled. They said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what should we do?"

Peter replied, "Change your hearts and lives. Each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This promise is for you, your children, and for all who are far away—as many as the Lord our God invites."
