Romans 15:14-21 Exploring NASB

Romans 15:14-21 And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.

But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given me from God,

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.

For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,

in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

And thus I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, so that I would not build on another man's foundation;

but as it is written, "They who had no news of Him shall see, And they who have not heard shall understand."

Ephesians 1:15-19 For this reason I too, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints,

do not cease giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers;

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might

Romans 11:13-14 But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them.

1 Corinthians 1:26-31 For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble;

but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong,

and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are,

so that no man may boast before God.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

so that, just as it is written, "Let Him who boasts, boast in the LORD."

Acts 15:12 All the people kept silent, and they were listening to Barnabas and Paul as they were relating what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.

Acts 21:18-21 And the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.

After he had greeted them, he began to relate one by one the things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.

And when they heard it then began glorifying God; and they said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Law;

and they have been told about you, that you are teaching all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children not to walk according to the customs.

Acts 2:18-21 Even on My bondservants, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit And they shall prophesy.

'And I will grant wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below, Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.

"The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, Before the great and glorious day of the LORD shall come.

'And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.'

The Exalted Servant

Isaiah 52:13-15 Behold, My servant will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted,

Just as many were astonished at you, My people, So His appearance was marred more than any man And His form more than the sons of men.

Thus He will sprinkle many nations, Kings will shut their mouths on account of Him; For what had not been told them they will see. And what they had not heard they will understand.
