🤔 Why Did God Permit Man to Transgress? First; because freedom of choice is the foundation of love. Coercion and compulsion do not create love nor nurture it; rather, they bring about disobedience. Therefore, when man - freely - chose his own self and loved it without God, he disobeyed and fell. Second, there is no communion without love, and no love without freedom of choice. This means that man's transgression caused him to reject communion and leave the fountain of life, i.e., God, and to search for the fountain of life within himself.
