Colossians 1:1-6 NKJV
Matthew 20:25-28 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.
"Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant,
"And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave---
"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
Matthew 23:1-12 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples,
saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat.
"Therefore whatever they tell you to observe, that observe and do, but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.
"For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on mans shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
"but all their works they do to be seen by men, They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge their borders of their garments.
"They love the best places at feasts, and best seats in the synagogues,
"greetings in the market'places, and to be called by men, "Rabbi, Rabbi."
"But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher; the Christ, and you are all brethren.
"Do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in heaven,"
And do not be called teachers, for One is your Teacher, the Christ.
"but he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
"and whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
1 Peter 5:1-10 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed;
Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly;
nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;
and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour;
Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world,
But mat the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
1 Peter 4:18-19 Now "If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?"
Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.
John 3:13-21 "No one has ascended to heaven But He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
"that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn to world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
"He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil,
"For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
"But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."
