Colossians 1:3-5 KJV

Colossians 1:3-5 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, praying always for you.

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Je'-sus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Romans 4:23-25 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Je'-sus our Lord from the dead;

Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 5:1-5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Je'-sus Christ;

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope;

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

James 1:2-10 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have he perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted;

But the rich, in that he is made low; because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Je'-sus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Genesis 28:10-17 And Ja'-cob went out from Beer-she'-ba, and went toward Ha'-ran.

And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was left; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

An he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven; and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of A'-bra-ham thy father, and the God of I'-saac; the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south; and in thee and in thy seed shall all families of the earth be blessed.

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

And Ja'-cob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
