Colossians 1:3-8 NKJV

Colossians 1:3-8 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints;

because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf.

who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

John 15:7-11 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it will be done for you.

"By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Fathers commandments and abide in His love.

"These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

John 14:11-16 "Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

"Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will also do, because I go to My Father.

"and whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

"If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

"If you love Me, keep My commandments,

"and I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever---.

John 16:22-24 "Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.

"And in that day you will ask Me nothing, Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

"Until now you have asked Me nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Ephesians 3:2-6 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,

by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets;

that the gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel.

Colossians 4:12-13 Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.
