Colossians 1:3-8 KJV

Colossians 1:3-8 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Je'-sus Christ, praying always for you.

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Je'-sus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye head of it, and knew the grace of God in truth;

As ye also learned of Ep'-a-phras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

John 15:7-11 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you; continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 14:11-16 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works' sake.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever:

John 16:16-24 A little while, and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me; and, because I go to the Father?

Now Je'-sus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice; and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come; but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she rememereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name; ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Ephesians 3:1-6 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Je'-sus Christ for you Gen'-tiles.

If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward;

How that thy revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words;

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Which is other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

That the Gen'-tiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ for the gospel;

Colossians 4:12-13 Ep'-a-phras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in La-od-i-ce'-a, and them in Hi-e-rap'-o-lis.
