Colossians 1:15-20 Part One of Two NKJV
Colossians 1:15-20 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones of dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him.
And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Hebrews 1:1-3 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the world of His power; when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty of High,
Hebrews 7:20-28 And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath
(for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him; "The Lord has sworn And will not relent,'You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek'),
by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant,
Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing,
But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people's, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
For the law appoints a high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.
Revelation 1:12-19 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me, and having turned I saw seven golden lampstands ,
and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.
His head and hand were were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters;
He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shinning in its strength,
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead, But He laid His right hand of me, saying to me, "Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last,
"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.Amen, And I have the keys of Hades and of Death,
'Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
Revelation 22:12-14 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
